Private Domains
That’s right! We’re including private registration on the domains included with our annual plans and any other domains you purchase. Why? Because that’s how we’d want it.
Switching is easy
Just publish your Sandvox document to a free trial Sandvox Hosting account to try it out. You can also transfer an existing domain, or buy a domain for your site from us.
Can I change plans later?
Of course. To change plans, just log into your account and choose the plan that better fits your needs. We’ll pro-rate your last payment, and settle up any difference in plan cost.

Starter
This plan is $7.99/month. Your domain will look like mysite.sandvox.net. Pay a month at a time. Straightforward.
Single
$99/year, and we throw in a domain name* - with privacy! That’s roughly a $25 bonus. This plan is for a single domain, and it includes plenty of bandwidth (10 gigabytes transferred per month) and storage (5 gigabytes, enough for an hour of HD video or thousands of photos). If you don’t know which plan to pick, pick this one. You can always change plans later if you wish.
Multi
This plan is the “middle ground”, $144/year (which works out to $12/month), and it also includes one domain name* - with privacy. That’s roughly a $25 bonus, when you sign up with us. This plan includes more bandwidth (45 gigabytes transferred per month) and storage capacity (10 gigabytes). Plus, using this plan, you can use one account to host up to 10 websites (with their own unique domain names). All of your published sites count toward the plan’s bandwidth and capacity limits. Choose this plan if you will be hosting more than one website, or if your business or personal site gets too much traffic for the limits of the Single plan, or if you need more storage than the Single plan includes.
Mega
The “biggest” plan. $199/year (plus any domain* registration, or transfer costs, etc.). It includes *triple* the bandwidth and capacity of our Single plan (75 gigabytes transferred per month; 15 gigabytes storage), and you can set up an unlimited number of domain names.
Additional Domain Names
If you get the Multi or Mega plans, you will want more than one domain name, one for each site you publish. You can also purchase additional domain names as an “alias” to the main domain for any website. You can purchase a domain name from us for $17.50/year, and that includes privacy protection service.
If you’re super technical and your needs go beyond what we offer — e.g. you want PHP, .htaccess files, MySQL or Postgres databases, Ruby on Rails, SSH, etc., then we suggest A2 Hosting or any other web host. Sandvox works with just about any web host.
* One free domain name restricted to .com, .net, and .org domain names. Other domain names must be purchased separately for $17.50/year.
